By A Staff Reporter — The mobility and migration agreement between India and Germany presents mutual advantages, particularly in meeting Germany’s skilled labor demand, said German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock in Delhi. Speaking on the arrangement, Baerbock emphasized that "In Indian society, there are so many young skilled people driving the labor market. In Germany, we need labor. This could be a win-win situation for India and Germany."

Germany is actively working with the Indian government to streamline pathways for Indian talent, stemming from the mobility agreement established two years ago. "We see that there is a huge interest in young people and skilled labor coming to Germany," Baerbock stated, noting recent efforts to cut bureaucratic red tape within Germany to facilitate smoother transitions for Indian workers.

The agreement marks a strategic effort to strengthen bilateral ties and address labor shortages in Germany, while offering Indian professionals new opportunities in a highly competitive market.
