Voter Turnout Data Out: West Bengal Records High Female Voter Turnout

As the ECI released official data, West Bengal recorded high female voter turnout, beyond male voter turnout in the first and second phases of the Lok Sabha elections.

BY A STAFF REPORTER: As the ECI released official data, West Bengal recorded high female voter turnout, beyond male voter turnout in the first and second phases of the Lok Sabha elections. 

West Bengal recorded female voter turnout at 82.59% in the first phase and recorded 77.99% in the second phase. Moreover, West Bengal recorded male-voter turnout at 81.25% and 75.22% in the first and second phases respectively.

West Bengal also recorded the highest voter turnout during the first phase at 81.91%. Moreover, West Bengal stood in the top 4 in the second phase at 76.58%. 

The Election Commission of India released official voter turnout data where the first phase recorded 66.14% voter turnout and 66.71% voter turnout in the second phase.
