With Liverpool winning at West London, Manchester City were hoping to get maximum points at home against Chelsea, however they were held to a draw. They will now be looking at this match as an opportunity to cut down the gap between them and Liverpool. Brentford, on the other hand will be a looking to bounce back from a hammering they received at home against table toppers Liverpool. They are currently at 14th position with 25 points from 24 games played. They will draw inspiration from last season's match at this stadium where they won 2-1, courtesy of an Ivan Toney brace.
