T&T HEALTH CARE WORKERS GIVEN PRIORITY ACCORDING TO HEALTH MINISTER

Health care workers have always been prioritized in Government’s efforts to fight against the Covid 19 pandemic, and according to Health Minister Terrence Deyalsingh in the Senate on Tuesday, they continue to be offered the necessary services and equipment to help themselves.
Responding to Opposition Senator Wade Mark however on when exactly the Health Care workers be able to access their 3rd dose of vaccines as advertised by Govt, Minister Deyalsingh assured the Upper House that this was already underway.
He said this exercise began some 2 weeks ago. Meanwhile the percentage of doctors who are now vaccinated against the virus has outnumbered their nursing counterparts as some 65% of nurses have accessed their shots compared to 95% of doctors.
