Programme commemorating Pranakrushna concluded with the release of books

Pranakrushna charitable Trust organised the anniversary of Pranakrushna and opening ceremony of an anthology of Odia poems by Nalinikanta Padhi under the title 'Suryastara Sesh Kotha' in the premises of Padmalochan High School yesterday .This programme was presided over by Dayanidhi Sahu ,lect in Odia at Pipli Mahavidyalaya .Bipin Bihari Biswal,veteran professor , man of letters and secretary of Dinakrushna Smruti Porishad ,was invited as chief guest to this arena. Former Lecturer in Odia Rabindra Biswal was accorded as the chief speaker . Among other signing stars mention may be made of an academy awadee Bimal Jana ,Kali Kinkar Das ,Brajendra Giri , Surendra Parida and Shishir Hazira .Narayan Biswal highlighted on the biography and and the book 'Suna jhio' of Pranakrushna Biswal . Internationally acclaimed poet Dr Manorama Biswal Mahapatra focused on her father's key issues relating to life and works . Nalinikanta Padhi uttered opening words while Damyanti Jana recited hymns from The Veda.The chief guest uncovered Shisir Hazira's book of English poems entitled 'The poem of real thought' .Bimal Jena and Kalikinkar Das was awarded Pranakrushna Smruti Samman for their contribution to literature and literature for children respectively .With active participation and co-operation from Kapil Das,Ardhendu Panigrahi , Snehalata Nayak , krushna Kalyani Nayak ,Dibakar Behera ,Rabindra Dutta and others , the two and half hours long programme came to an end with the note of thanks from Nalinikanta Padhi .That programme could not be a grand success but for the whole-hearted assistance of students from Jagai Mahavidyalaya .
