Ayodhya: The Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has announced grand celebrations for Ram Navami, with a special ‘Surya Tilak’ ceremony for Ram Lalla. The Trust’s General Secretary, Champat Rai, shared key details about the event, which will be observed with great devotion and traditional rituals.

According to Rai, the celebrations will commence on the morning of April 6 with the ceremonial abhishek (ritual bathing) of Ram Lalla, followed by the sacred adornment (shringaar). The most significant moment will be at noon, marking the divine birth time of Lord Ram, when an elaborate aarti will be performed, and Chhappan Bhog (a traditional offering of 56 food items) will be presented.

A major highlight of the ceremony is the Surya Tilak, where a focused ray of sunlight will illuminate the idol of Ram Lalla for four minutes. This celestial event is being meticulously planned and will be broadcast worldwide for devotees to witness.
