Four districts of Uttarakhand Kumaon are under a two-day heavy rain warning.

By a staff reporter- The Meteorological Department has forecast two days of torrential rain. The monsoon is still active in the state, according to Bikram Singh, head of the State Meteorological Center. As a result, rain is a possibility in most regions.


An orange signal has been issued for isolated areas in the Nainital, Bageshwar, Champawat, and Pithoragarh districts due to severe to extremely heavy rains. As a result, landslides or rock slips may occur in susceptible regions. A warning to exercise caution has been issued by the meteorological department.


On the other side, landslides at Baldiyakhan on Haldwani Road were brought on by the rain, and there is now debris on the road. As
a result, the flow of traffic has not been hampered.


On Kaladhungi road, stones are falling from the slopes in various locations. Sanjay Panwar, who is in charge of the Science Center,
reported that 25 mm of rain fell in the previous 36 hours.
