Salary of tea workers increased

By a Staff Reporter: Salary of tea workers increased in Assam. The Assam government has increased the minimum interim wages of tea plantation workers in the state to Rs 27 per day.

From now on, tea plantation workers in the Brahmaputra Valley will get an interim minimum wage of Rs 232 per day. Also the tea workers of Barak valley will get 210 rupees per day.
