China opens visa to students and businessmen, fly from neighbouring countries

The Chinese consul general in Kolkata, Zha Liyou made this announcement during the certificate distribution ceremony of short term online business Chinese course 2022 at his residence in Salt Lake in Kolkata. ``We are ready to issue visas for travel to China for students and businessmen. 

The only issue is that there are at present no flights from India to China. But Indians can travel to neighbouring Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Dubai, Bangkok and then take the flight to China from these destinations,'' he said. ``The situation will ease out shortly. Give it some time and I am sure everything is going to be ok,'' he added. Zha Liyou was addressing a group of budding entrepreneurs and members of the Bengal Chambers of Commerce and industries.
