Vadnagar, Gujarat: Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel conducted a high-level review of ongoing development projects in Vadnagar, a city known for its rich historical and cultural significance. During the meeting with senior officials, Patel assessed the progress of initiatives spanning tourism, urban development, and heritage preservation.
With Vadnagar witnessing a surge in tourist footfall—over 6 lakh visitors this year alone—the Chief Minister underscored the need for expediting critical infrastructure projects. He directed authorities to ensure timely completion, stressing the importance of enhancing the city’s appeal as a major heritage and tourism destination.
“Vadnagar holds immense historical and cultural value. It is our priority to preserve and develop it in a way that benefits both residents and visitors,” Patel stated.
Officials briefed the CM on the status of various projects, including urban planning upgrades, restoration of heritage sites, and improvements in local amenities. Patel urged them to maintain efficiency and quality standards while ensuring that development aligns with the city’s cultural legacy.
The government’s continued focus on Vadnagar aims to bolster its position as a key heritage tourism hub in Gujarat, attracting both domestic and international visitors.
