Jaipur, Rajasthan: Amid discussions on the Rajasthan Coaching Centres (Control and Regulation) Bill, 2025, state minister Jogaram Patel highlighted the importance of creating laws that serve public interest and address students' concerns.
“Any law that is formed should be in the interest of the people, useful to them, and acceptable to everyone. Laws are made with the future in mind. Coaching centres play a crucial role in education, but at the same time, the future of our children is equally important,” Patel stated.
The bill aims to introduce regulatory measures for private coaching institutes, ensuring quality education while addressing student safety and fee structures. Patel assured that the government is open to incorporating feedback from stakeholders.
“We have received several opinions and suggestions, and we will try to include them in the final version of the bill,” he added.
With the growing dependency on coaching centres for competitive exams, the bill is expected to bring structured guidelines to prevent malpractices while safeguarding students' interests. The state government continues consultations before finalizing the legislation.
