Christmas is not celebrated in Bhutan!

BY A STAFF REPORTER: A few days later, Christmas is going to be celebrated. Almost the whole world will celebrate the birthday of Jesus Christ with Christmas trees, Santa Claus, cakes and gifts of various flavors. This festival is celebrated almost all over the world on December 25. But you will be surprised to know that Christmas is not celebrated in Bhutan. The majority of Bhutan's population is Buddhist. Less than one per cent of christians live in this tiny himalayan country. That's why Christmas is not celebrated in Bhutan. There is no place for Christmas even in the Bhutanese calendar.
