Center removed Jadavpur University from the list of excellence

By a Staff Reporter:The state government did not say how much it would pay. Therefore, a meeting of the University of Grant Commission has decided that the central government is not able to give the satus of eminence to Jadavpur University. Describing the decision as 'unfortunate' said Jadavpur University Vice chancelor Suranjan Das.
