Assam Minister Hails Moidam Burial Site's World Heritage Status

Guwahati: Assam Minister Jogen Mohan marked a significant achievement for the state with the inclusion of the Moidam burial site in the World Heritage list. He described the occasion as one of great happiness.

"Today is an occasion of happiness. The Moidam burial site has been included in the World Heritage list," Mohan said. He extended his thanks to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma for their support in achieving this milestone.

The Moidam burial site, known for its historical significance, now joins the prestigious list of World Heritage sites, reflecting its global cultural importance.
