Lucknow: The state capital has witnessed massive infrastructure development over the past decade, thanks to Union Defence Minister and Lucknow MP Rajnath Singh. His interventions have led to the execution of projects worth ₹55,000 crore, significantly transforming the city's connectivity and transport network.
According to a brief statement from the district administration, over 100 major infrastructure projects have been executed in Lucknow, including the 104 km-long outer ring road, which has greatly improved traffic movement around the city.
Other key projects include:
-
Flyovers at Polytechnic Chauraha to Adarsh Nagar via Munshipulia and Khurramnagar, as well as Bangla Bazaar to Bijnor, easing congestion.
-
A link elevated road from Shaheed Path to the airport, ensuring faster access to the international terminal.
These initiatives have significantly enhanced urban mobility, reduced travel time, and boosted economic activities in the city. Officials noted that more projects are in the pipeline to further modernize Lucknow's infrastructure.
