Congress' Akshay Kanti Bam Withdraws His Nomination, Joins BJP

Amid the Lok Sabha elections, Congress leader Akshay Kanti Bam withdrew his candidature from Indore on April 29, Monday. The BJP nominated Shankar Lalwani as its candidate from Indore. Shankar Lalwani has also served as the MP from Indore since 2019.

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Amid the Lok Sabha elections, Congress leader Akshay Kanti Bam withdrew his candidature from Indore on April 29, Monday.

The former Indore candidate is set to join the BJP.  Madhya Pradesh Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya took it to his X handle and stated that Bam is welcome to join the BJP.

The BJP nominated Shankar Lalwani as its candidate from Indore. Shankar Lalwani has also served as the MP from Indore since 2019.
