Moreover, Arvind Kejriwal directed his counsel to submit the poll bond copy of the same before the Rouse Avenue Court. Sarath Reddy is an accused and approver of Kejriwal's involvement in the Delhi Liquor Policy Scam. After the publication of the Electoral Bonds, it was disclosed that Sarath Reddy bought Rs. 55 crores of Electoral Bonds from BJP. The AAP leaders termed him as a 'Star Donor'.
Arvind Kejriwal also claimed that the grounds of his arrest are not sufficient enough and no court has found him guilty. He also alleged that the case is a political conspiracy to crush the Aam Aadmi Party.
As Kejriwal's remand is set to expire today. ED has further sought custody of Arvind Kejriwal in the Delhi Liquor Policy Scam for seven days.
Furthermore, Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court Remanded Delhi CM and AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal to ED Custody till March 28 in the Delhi Liquorgate case on March 22, Friday. The decision came as ED demanded 10-day custody of Kejriwal and submitted 28 pages of evidence alleging his involvement in the Delhi Liquor Policy Scam.
The Enforcement Directorate arrested Delhi CM and AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal from his residence in connection with the Delhi Liquorgate case. He was arrested following search operations and Interrogations conducted by the ED at his residence on Thursday evening.
