BY A STAFF REPORTER: Haryana Steelers is a professional kabaddi team based in Panchkula, Haryana. It plays every season for the Pro Kabaddi League. The team is currently led by Siddharth Sirish Desai and coach Manpreet Singh. The owner of this team is part of JSW Group. Haryana Steelers play their home matches at the Tau Devi Lal Stadium in Panchkula.
The Steelers got off to a good start on the PKL stage by reaching the playoffs in the first season of 2017. But their success was short-lived. Because the team finished below Zone A in the following 2018–19 season. The season 2019 was the best season for the Haryana Steelers team. The coach of this team, Rakesh Kumar, also made his name as a successful coach in the Pro Kabaddi League by making the team in the playoffs.
