BY A STAFF REPORTER: In a recent statement, BJP MP Hema Malini who represents the Mathura constituency, on Wednesday criticized the opposition's move to boycott Ram Temple's inauguration.
She further stated that it is a loss for the opposition as they won't witness the inauguration of the much-awaited Ram Mandir. Moreover, Hema Malini stressed that the opposition must not politicize the Pran-Pratishtha ceremony. She emphasized that it is wrong to oppose the event as the opposition is doing and every Indian, regardless of their political ideology, must support the Ram Temple inauguration ceremony.
Numerous opposition leaders including Sonia Gandhi, Sharad Pawar, and Lalu Prasad Yadav have turned down the invitation to the Ram Temple consecration ceremony. Moreover, top Congress leaders vehemently opposed the ceremony terming it as an 'RSS/BJP' event.
The consecration procedures of the Ram Temple began on Tuesday, January 16, and will last seven days. Over 7,000 dignitaries are expected to attend the grand Pran-Pratishtha event on January 22nd in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh.
