Dr Rajesh Kumar promises clean air

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Promise of clean air, stated Dr Rajesh Kumar, a senior IPS officer, after taking over as the Principal secretary of environment department. Kumar has been functioning as the member secretary of Pollution Control Board and has proved his mettle. Kumar is credited to have brought in several reforms in the PCB.

Sources in the environment department indicated that Kumar has been tasked to handle sensitive areas like coastline and wetland in the department.
