Sumit Antil is a shining name in the Paralympics javelin throw event. She won a gold medal at the 2020 Summer Paralympics in Tokyo using her prosthetic leg.

In this case, Sumit Antil lost his leg in a motorbike accident in 2015 when he was just 17 years old. She topped the podium at the Asian Games last year and also won gold medals at back-to-back world championships.
She broke the world record in 2023 with an all-round javelin throw of 73.29 meters. She will compete for the first time at the Paris Paralympics in 2024.
