1,200 companies lose foreign grant licenses

By A Staff Reporter : 1,200 companies lost their licenses to receive foreign grants.Earlier, a controversy erupted over the revocation of the Missionaries of Charity's license.This time around 1,200 companies lost their licenses to receive foreign grants.The list includes organizations like Oxfam India Trust, Jamia Millia Islamia, Indian Medical Association and Leprosy Mission.According to the Union Home Ministry, the licenses of about 600 foreign aid grants had expired.It was ordered to be renewed by Friday. But it was not done.
