Former Indian army chief leading rescue mission in war zone

Hundreds of Indian students stranded in Ukraine reached the Polish border and from there were taken to nearest airport. Former Indian army chief and a senior minister of Modi cabinet, Gen VK Singh ensured that they boarded a flight back home. Despite their anxiety and tiredness following a long journey back from the war zone, the students looked cheerful as they embarked on their return journey.
