By a Staff Reporter: The Pakistani government has banned commercial fishing from rivers in Pakistan's Punjab province. The decision was taken by Punjab Fisheries Secretary Shahid Zaman as the number of fish in the river is declining. The ban has been in place for 10 years. The ban will take effect on September 1 and will remain in force until July 31, 2032.
