Beneficiaries of RKSY-1 and RKSY-2 will continue to get wheat as long as stocks last: state food department

By a Staff Reporter: The state food department has made arrangements to distribute wheat and rice to beneficiaries of RKSY. The state food secretary Parwez Ahmed Siddiqui in an express order clarified that wheat will be provided on a first come first serve basis till stocks last and deficiency will be compensated with distribution of rice.

 In reference to order No. 2177-FS dated 27.05.2022. The order says that there is difficulty in providing required quantity of Wheat. It further says that Rice will be distributed in lieu of Wheat. It means if wheat is available in the FPS, wheat will be distributed first.However, it is hereby again clarified that wheat will be distributed to RKSY-1 and RKSY-2 beneficiaries from  FPS on first come first serve basis , till the closing stock of wheat of that FPS exists.
