By A Staff Reporter: Despite 75 years of independence have been celebrated but development has not reaches many areas.Ward no. 108 is one of this type of area which is far from development in Kolkata,Westbengal. After 75 years of independence, Bantala area got electricity. Recently, 17 houses got electricity connection. Power Minister Arup Biswas officially inaugurated the power connection in Bantala area. Area Councilor Sushanta Kumar Ghosh said, ''After becoming a councilor in 108 no. ward, my main goal is to develop this area.I informed Firhad Hakim, the metropolitan of Kolkata about the power connection in this area. With the help of Firhad Hakim and Power Minister Arup Biswas, all the efforts have been successful.''
