Kremlin calls allegations of Nord Stream sabotage "predictably stupid and absurd"

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Any allegations that Russia may have been involved in sabotaging the Nord Stream 1 and 2 pipelines are “predictably stupid and absurd,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov has claimed. “It's pretty predictable and predictably stupid to express such versions. Predictably stupid and absurd,” Peskov said on Wednesday when asked about allegations Russia might be involved in damaging the pipelines. “This is a big problem for us, since both pipelines are filled with gas, and this gas is very expensive,” he added.
