Sri Lanka batted first against England and scored 141 runs. In response, England were in a bit of trouble when they came out to bat. Lahiru Kumara, Hasaranga and Dhananjaya de Silva took two wickets each. However, Ben Stokes remained in the wicket. He scored an unbeaten 42 off 36 balls.
