Hasina's son, Sajeeb Wazed Joy, arrogant and responsible for the crisis, Awami league seniors

BY A STAFF REPORTER: Sajeeb Wazed Joy, the self styled Awami League leader living a luxurious life in US, and son of Sheikh Hasina is responsible for the current imbroglio, according to senior leaders of the party currently hiding in various areas in Dhaka and rest of the country. 

``He promoted arrogant and corrupt leaders, helped rig contracts and amassed massive wealth for a select few, leaving others in the lurch. Now he is issuing a statement urging Awami league supporters to stand up and fight. Why does he not lead from the front instead of sermonising from a safe place in the US,'' a senior minister in the former Awami league cabinet told ANM News.

ANM News has found that resentment against Joy among the older generation of Awami league leaders is very high. Joy has never done active politics and only basked in the glory of her mother Sheikh Hasina.
