Uttar Pradesh Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar has hit back at Samajwadi Party (SP) leader Akhilesh Yadav over his recent comments against the BJP-NDA government. Addressing Yadav’s concerns about security, Rajbhar said, "The state government is concerned about his security. It's the rainy season, and the JPNIC (Jayaprakash Narayan International Centre) area hasn't been cleaned, so anything could happen." He assured that steps are being taken to ensure Yadav’s safety.

Rajbhar also responded to Yadav’s accusation that the BJP-NDA government doesn’t respect great historical personalities. He pointed out that the SP, which has held power in Uttar Pradesh four times, failed to erect statues of prominent figures like Raja Suheldev or Saint Ravidas. "If he can show just one picture where Raja Suheldev or Saint Ravidas statues were installed during SP’s tenure, I'll accept his claim," Rajbhar said.

Highlighting the achievements of the BJP government, Rajbhar noted that the NDA has been proactive in recognizing and honoring key historical figures. "Under the NDA government, statues of Vallabhbhai Patel, Raja Suheldev, and BR Ambedkar have been installed," he added, defending the BJP's track record in acknowledging leaders who have shaped Indian history.

In a sharp criticism of Yadav, Rajbhar remarked, "'Abhi wo Pakistan ka paani peekar aaye hain' (He has just returned after drinking Pakistan’s water), which is why he is always opposing us." His comment alluded to Yadav's recent trip abroad, subtly accusing him of aligning with foreign interests.
