Porbandar: The annual Madhavpur Ghed Fair 2025 is set to take place from April 6 to 10 in Porbandar, Gujarat, showcasing a fusion of cultural traditions from Gujarat and eight northeastern states. Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel will inaugurate the event, reinforcing the spirit of "Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat."

A key highlight of the fair is the theatrical reenactment of the wedding of Lord Krishna and Rukminiji, a historical and spiritual event deeply rooted in Indian mythology. The festival aims to strengthen cultural ties between western and northeastern India.

Apart from spiritual and cultural performances, the fair will also feature:
