Bhopal: As temperatures rise across Madhya Pradesh, Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan took a symbolic step to support bird welfare by placing a water pot for them in Bhopal. Highlighting the impact of climate change, he urged citizens to follow suit.
"The summer has begun, and the temperature is rising due to climate change. Even birds face problems in getting drinking water during the summer season," Chouhan stated. He appealed to the public to set up water pots to help birds survive the heat.
With the mercury soaring, wildlife and birds struggle to find water sources, especially in urban areas. Environmentalists have long advocated simple measures like placing water containers on balconies, rooftops, and gardens to aid birds during peak summer months.
