Bengaluru: Defence Minister Rajnath Singh paid heartfelt tributes to His Holiness Dr. Sree Sree Sree Shivakumara Swamigalu on his Jayanti, remembering his unparalleled contributions to society.

"A true embodiment of compassion and selfless service, he dedicated his life to uplifting the underprivileged through education and social welfare," Singh stated.

Swamigalu, the revered Lingayat seer and former head of Siddaganga Mutt, was widely respected for his humanitarian efforts, particularly in providing free education, food, and shelter to thousands of students. His century-long service earned him the title "Walking God".

Singh emphasized that Swamigalu’s legacy of kindness and wisdom continues to guide and inspire generations, urging people to follow the path he illuminated.
