Breaking: Amit Shah will meet West Bengal Governor CV Ananda Bose today at North Block

Governor CV Anand Bose visited Delhi during the panchayat polls in Bengal. It was reported that he would meet Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Union Home Minister Amit Shah will meet West Bengal Governor CV Anand Bose at North Block on Monday evening.

CV Anand Bose had maintained silence in the media after the panchayat polls in Bengal ended on Saturday evening, though he had earlier been very vocal on the issue of violence. State Election Commissioner Rajiva Sinha had come under severe attack from the Governor on the issue. 

On the violence in the elections, CV Anand said, "As governor of the state, I will do whatever I am supposed to do. ‘’
