New Delhi: Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge has voiced strong criticism of the government ahead of the upcoming Budget, emphasizing the need for welfare measures for farmers, the poor, and Dalits.

Kharge stated, "We have been making demands for farmers, poor, Dalits from the beginning. But this government works arbitrarily and does things for its own benefit. It can't do anything for the public."

He urged a focus on critical issues, saying, "So, let the Budget come. What they are going to do in reality, what welfare measures they are going to provide - we hope that they provide package for backward areas. It is flooded everywhere, how much they will provide for the flood; roads are damaged everywhere."
