BY A STAFF REPORTER: The Union Education Minister will introduce the Central Universities Amendment Bill in the Lok Sabha today on the 10th day of the winter session of Parliament. The bill seeks to amend the Central Universities Act, 2009. The bill was earlier passed by the Lok Sabha. On the other hand, Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal will take up the Repeal and Amendment Bill in the Rajya Sabha today for consideration and passage. This bill was passed in the Lok Sabha earlier. The bill needs some amendments.
Rajya Sabha MPs Vivek Thakur, Sangeeta Yadav and Faytaz Ahmed will present three reports of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Education, Women, Children, Youth and Sports in English and Hindi.
