Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday launched a scathing attack on the TMC at the Panchayati Raj Conference. He attacked TMC over panchayat vote violence. PM Modi says, "The entire country has seen the way the TMC played with the blood of the people of Bengal in the panchayat elections. They have threatened not only BJP workers but also voters. The TMC does not spare the relatives of BJP workers either. Despite all this, many BJP candidates have won. Even after the elections, attacks are taking place in Bengal. From nominations to voting, there was violence everywhere. TMC workers fled with ballot boxes. On the day of polling, tmc people became chappals. The TMC has done everything necessary to ensure that no BJP candidate can file his nomination.
