In an exclusive video, former New Zealand cricketer Scott Styris spoke about Hardik Pandya's potential and performance. Styris expressed his desire to see Pandya fully realize his capabilities as a dominant all-rounder.

"I want to see him actually get his body right and be that dominant all-rounder that we know he is," Styris said. "Bowling is really hard work, and he is someone who's got all the skills and talent. I want to see him be what a genuine all-rounder is—someone you can rely on with both bat and ball, not just the odd over with the ball and a cameo with the bat."

Styris highlighted Pandya’s potential, noting that he has yet to consistently deliver at the level expected of his talent. "He's got way more, much more talent than that. He is a phenomenally skilled cricketer," Styris added. He compared Pandya’s ability to that of Ben Stokes but emphasized that Pandya has not yet shown that level of consistency.

Commenting on Pandya’s current role, Styris noted that while captaincy was not a focus, he appreciated that Pandya was not captaining the series. "Just let him get out there and say, ‘you've got to lead us now and you're leading us by performance,'" Styris concluded.
