Ireland played with dominance agains West Indies. Batting first at The Blundstone Arena, West scored 146 runs for loose of 5 wickets in 20 overs. In terms of T20 cricket format, this score is fairly enough for fighting. 


But ireland batsmen played with ease against the Caribbeans. Before the end of the twenty overs, Ireland took the match in their name. Two openers, Paul Stirling and Andrew Balbirne (C) scored an unbeaten 66 off 48 balls and 37 off 23 balls respectively. Batting at number three, Lorcan Tucker scored 45 runs off 35 balls. Ireland took the match with 9 balls remaining.
