A proud day for Indian women hockey team. a proud day for every Indian. The gutsy girls kept the mighty Aussies at bay. Aided by slices of luck and some dogged display, under dogs India caused the biggest upset of Hockey in the Olympics by beating Australia by a single goal. India proceeded to the semifinals. Never before in the history of women hockey have India come back from after a few drubbings in the group league to proceed to the semis. As every Indian rejoiced, all eyes will be on captain Rani and her colleagues as they take the field in the semis.
