By a Staff Reporter: After missing out on a century by a few runs in the first Test, Indian opening batsman KL Rahul made up for it and more on the first day of the second Test against England at Lord's. Rahul, who started his innings plating the second fiddle to Rohit Sharma, who was flying and going after England's bowlers, came into his own after the latter departed and dictated terms in the proceedings of the first day. Rahul accelerated like a champion as Rohit had started to time the ball in the latter part of his innings. Rahul had scored just 17 runs when Rohit was on 81, the latter scored just two more runs before James Anderson dismissed him and Rahul had made 16 more runs till then. After which, Rahul just accelerate scoring 18 runs off his next 19 balls to notch up his 13th fifty in Test matches.
