Speaking at the Ministry of Health’s media conference on Wednesday, Director of Women’s Health, Dr Adesh Sirjusingh noted that once unvaccinated, a pregnant woman stands a 70% chance of increased death as well as other severe complications
And with the influenza season in full gear until May of next year, pregnant women will also have this to face. He’s therefore advising women to access this vaccine as well
