BY A STAFF REPORTER: A mazar on Delhi's Azadpur Flyover has been razed on 9th January Tuesday in the National Capital. The Mazar was reportedly illegally constructed and accused of constraining the flyover traffic.

Several social media users posted on X (formerly Twitter) about the demolition of Mazar. As per the reports, the residents of Azadpur constantly urged authorities for the removal of the 'illegally constructed' Mazar on the flyover. However, in the past five days, the demands intensified as users started tagging Vinai Kumar Saxena, the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi for taking action against the Mazar. This came after Saxena posted about the removal of ancient Jhandewala Mandir's gate on Rani Jhansi Marg on their request.
