Tripura Landslide Kills 10; Rs 4 Lakh Compensation Announced

A sudden landslide in the Shantirbazar subdivision of Tripura has tragically claimed the lives of 10 individuals. The disaster affected two families in Ashwini Tripura Para, where seven people died, and another family in Debipur, where three lives were lost.

The Tripura Chief Minister's Office has expressed profound sorrow over the incident and extended condolences to the bereaved families. Recognizing that no compensation can truly replace the loss, the state government has announced financial assistance of Rs 4 lakhs for each affected family.

In light of the disaster, the state government has urged citizens to unite and cooperate, emphasizing its commitment to providing all necessary support to those impacted by the calamity.
