West Bengal: ED Seals Shahjahan Shaikh's Residence In Sandeshkali

BY A STAFF REPORTER: The Enforcement Directorate team has sealed the house of Trinamool Congress leader Shahjahan Shaikh's house in Sandeshkali, North 24 Parganas on Wednesday.

Furthermore, Shaikh has been asked to appear before the ED on 29th January. This comes after an ED team launched search operations today at Trinamool Congress Leader Shahjahan Sheikh's residence on Wednesday in Sandeshkali, West Bengal. Moreover, The ED team was accompanied by central forces to tackle any threat during the raid. The raids are being carried out in connection with a ration distribution scam in West Bengal.

However, this is not the first attempt to conduct raids at Shahjahan Sheikh's residence. Earlier in the month, an ED Team was attacked by a massive mob of villagers in Sandeshkali. The team had suffered injuries and their vehicles were vandalized as well.
