In response to Chief Minister Eknath Shinde's announcement of the 'Maza Ladka Bhau Yojana 2024', Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee Working President Naseem Khan voiced strong criticism. Khan questioned the authenticity of the scheme and accused the Shinde government of misleading the public with unfulfilled promises. "If the government takes initiatives to benefit the public, it is welcome. However, the current Shinde government is deceiving people and making false promises," Khan stated.
Highlighting procedural concerns, Khan pointed out that the announcement had not been formally approved by the Cabinet, raising doubts about its legitimacy. "Today, the Chief Minister has crossed the line by announcing the 'Ladka Bhau Yojana', even though no such decision has been made in the Cabinet," he emphasized.
Khan characterized the announcement as a political tactic aimed at garnering electoral support rather than delivering tangible benefits to the people of Maharashtra. "Such promises to lure people are just a political strategy by the Maharashtra coalition government to gain votes," Khan concluded.
