BY A STAFF REPORTER: Two people were killed in a Russian attack in the southern Ukrainian city of Kherson on Tuesday, the prosecutor general's office said.
Russian forces reportedly shelled the city around 6 a.m. local time, killing a man and a woman. Residential buildings were damaged.
Law enforcement officials are working at the scene to document another war crime committed by Russian military personnel. The Kherson District Prosecutor's Office has opened a pretrial investigation into the attack.
