Again you heard and read about it first on ANM News. We were the first to inform you that the Centre had in principle given approval to extend the tenure of chief secretary HK Dwivedi by another six months. Dwivedi was supposed to retire on June 30. ANM News had broken the story more than a fortnight earlier when our sources in the PMO informed us about the move.
Today, it became official. The department of personnel and training under ministry of personnel sent the official letter signed by under secretary Kuldeep Chaudhury on June 28 and delivered on June 30 just before his superannuation. Dwivedi, has served in various capacities in the state government and is known as an experienced IAS officer.
