Ahmedabad, Gujarat: Congress MP and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, is set to embark on a two-day visit to Gujarat, focusing on strengthening the party’s organizational structure. State Congress President Shaktisinh Gohil emphasized that this visit is part of a broader effort to revamp the party and enhance grassroots engagement.
Speaking about the agenda, Gohil stated, “There was an extensive discussion in the Congress Working Committee (CWC) regarding necessary changes in the organization. Rahul Gandhi himself has initiated this program to reinforce the party by interacting with colleagues, workers, and the political affairs committee.”
On March 7, Rahul Gandhi will engage with Gujarat’s political affairs committee, followed by discussions with district Congress presidents. He will also hold direct dialogues with block-level presidents to understand their concerns and insights.
On March 8, Congress workers are expected to gather in large numbers as Gandhi addresses them, aiming to provide motivation and direction. “This will undoubtedly give us strength, vision, and clarity. It will also allow party workers to voice their thoughts directly to the leadership,” Gohil added.
