The Supreme Court has recommended the name of Justice Prashant Kumar Mishra chief justice of Andhra Pradesh High Court for elevation to the Supreme Court.

The five member collegium headed by chief justice DY Chandrachud also recommended the name of senior advocate KV Viswanathan from the bar to be elevated as judge of the Supreme Court. There are currently two vacancies in the Supreme Court.
